The TaylorMade SLDR Driver features weights that slide on a track which is a complete reinvention of a movable weight system which is more effective and easier to use.
You can set the weight to any of 21 positions on the track; all you have to do is loosen the screw, slide the weight then tighten the screw which takes as little as 10 seconds. Move the weight to promote the shape you want, either towards the draw at the heel or to promote fade toward the toe. Change side-to-side trajectory of up to 30 yards.
The TaylorMade SLDR Driver is designed for longer/straighter shots because it promotes a high launch angle, lower spin-rate and faster ball speed.
The SLDR is TaylorMade’s longest driver ever.* The CG location in the SLDR Driver is both low and forward thanks to the large, 20-gram sliding weight on the sole for a dramatic leap in distance.
With the movable weights the clubhead’s CG horizontally shifts to promote a draw or a fade.
Loft-sleeve Technology is incorporated, so you can adjust the loft. With 12 positions to choose from within a range of plus-or-minus 1.5 degrees of loft change.
